GINGER

Nigeria is the third largest exporter of Ginger after China and India. Nigerian Ginger is known for its pungency, rich oil content and aroma.

Ginger is the washed, irregular-shaped rootstock (rhizome) of the reed-like ginger plant of the family Zingiberaceae, which is cultivated mostly in the northern parts of Nigeria and grows as tall as 1.5m. The rootstock shape resembles a human hand.

Dabeth Industries offers both Fresh-whole Ginger and Dry-split ginger. We ensure that our Ginger is thoroughly cleaned and free from dirt, pests and rot. Our Ginger is usually packaged in polypropylene bags and accompanied with SGS or BUREAU VERITAS reports for quality during shipping to our partners.
